Eagles and Buzzards
We offer two hides for photographing Eastern Imperial Eagle situated in Sakar mountains - the prime area in Bulgaria for these majestic birds. The areas at both of the hides are rich in birds which we also attract with bird feeders.
Although the Imperial Eagle is the main target bird at these hides, they are often visited by Common Buzzard, Long-legged Buzzards, and Ravens.
|Hide 1 is smaller and can seat 2 photographers. It is situated in an open landscape with wide view. Because of this open landscape and the specifics of the terrain the hide is designed slightly smaller to reduce any disturbance. Since the hide is smaller and birds are closer we recommend the use of the photography glass windows. However customers may decide wheather to use them or the open air embrasure. It is important that all photographers in the hide use the same approach.|
|Hide 2 is much larger and can seat comfortably 4 photographers. The distance here is greater and birds are not disturbed by photographers' presence|
Each of the seats at both hides has open air embrasure and a photographic glass which reduces the light with one stop.
